Hello! My name is Kristy, I am a 200hr CYT as well as a registered nurse. I began my yoga journey in college as a gym credit, but quickly realized how much this practice was changing me. I found myself calmer, happier and stronger both mentally and physically. Yoga helped me with my anxiety and I wanted to be able to show others it’s benefit. After working on a mental health and substance abuse unit, I was curious to see if I could intertwine my nursing with yoga to provide more to my patients and their care. I did my Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher training in Baltimore Maryland with Charm City Yoga. I moved to this area two years ago and quickly began teaching. I love to safely challenge students on the mat to show them just how strong they are mentally and physically! Besides yoga, some of my favorite things are my two cats Biscuit and Gravy, my fiancé, the fall - especially October, the outdoors and coffee! I hope to see you on your mat! I am excited to be apart of your yoga journey.
